Jerry Calandrilla - Middle School Principal

Mr. Calandrilla is beginning his sixth year as principal at Sullivan Middle School. Prior to coming to Sullivan, he served as the middle school assistant principal and district athletic director for the Charleston School District and taught high school social studies for six years at Charleston High School where he also coached football and softball. He began his teaching career as a 5th and 6th grade social studies teacher in Rennert, North Carolina.

Mr. Calandrilla received his Bachelors of Science Degree in Social Science Education and History from Indiana State University, and his Masters in Educational Administration and his Specialist in Educational Administration from Eastern Illinois University.

Mr. Calandrilla is a member of the Illinois Principals Association, National Association of Secondary School Principals, and the Illinois Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development.

Mr. Calandrilla lives in Sullivan with his wife Lauren and their four children.
